VOOPOO X217 217W TC BOX MOD

The X217 mod is the latest dual-battery mod from Voopoo, and it is manufactured by Woody Vapes. Woody Vapes has been making mods for a few years now but never became really popular. They are the manufacturer of the GENE chip which was popularized in the Voopoo Drag mod a few years ago. They eventually got purchased by Voopoo and started manufacturing mods for them.

The X217 is a dual 2×700 battery mod, which means you can use 21700, 20700 or 18650 batteries with it. It’s rated at 217 watts with an upgraded screen and of course their GENE chip. I’m not sure of the color options available as I couldn’t find any reliable information on that, but I have seen pictures of a few color options. Mine is listed on the box as “purple jade” and it’s a gunmetal body with black/red/blue resin accents.

We highly recommend using an external battery charger for 18650 battery mods, as it helps with balanced charging and prolongs the life of the battery and mod, such as from worn out microUSB port. Never use damaged or improperly wrapped batteries with this device. We recommend all 18650/20700/21700 battery mods to use matching batteries with similar brand, model, and battery state at all times.

In order to use temperature control feature, it requires use of nickel, titanium, or stainless steel coils.
When working with Li-ion (Lithium-ion), LiPo (Lithium-ion Polymer) and any rechargeable cells, please be cautious and carefully use as they are very sensitive to charging characteristics and may explode or burn if mishandled. Please make sure that you have great knowledge on all rechargeable batteries before you use them. Always charge batteries at the clean and fire-proof surface.
